Outlaw memorial

Maybe not that many people know how far left they have veered, especially if they are following the current leaders as their “north star”, as white house press secretary Jen Psaki has called slow joe biden. But I would like for you to perform a mental exercise with me, and leave a comment where you find yourself standing.

If you believe in the Constitution, take a step to the right.

If you would support and defend the Constitution, take another step to the right.

If you believe the Constitution means what it was intended to mean by the Founding Fathers, take another step to the right.

Now, if you are a Christian, take yet another step further to the Right.

If you are a Christian with God’s Word as your Witness… congrats… you are the “radical right wing” that the left is at war against.

However, just about everyone knows the left is at war with anyone who took that first step to the Right to begin with. Why? They took a step to the left in a lack of belief in the Constitution.

Supporting and defending? Hell no, they are taking another step to assault it. But further left, the constitution is just an ambiguous wad of words that mean whatever is convenient to interpret the words to mean.

Christian views? Well, those are against the beliefs that help progress the society they want to live under. And the bible is of course, just a bigger wad of ambiguous words waiting for re-interpretation.

God? They lack a belief in that.

No different than saying a rock lacks belief in someone being a human.

I don’t think you have to be on the extreme radical left to see what direction I am coming from. But it sure is funny when I hear the “radical right” getting slandered from centrists and leftists that obviously either don’t know what they are talking about, or are intentionally lying to accuse the Right of leftist ideologies.

After all, it is pretty easy to identify leftist principles. Their leaders did not have the names Jefferson, Franklyn, Washington, Adams etc.

Christ sure isn’t their “North Star.”

Marx, Darwin, even Nietzsche though? Sure. And marching in front of that we see names such as hitler, mao, stalin, muhammad. Their gods and their bibles are plain to see as well as the fruits of the tree they want to water. And it isn’t Liberty, just enslavement.

And before any leftist can try to slander Christianity for sharing their beliefs, let me point out an interesting museum relic.

It is a bible that was published in 1807, and it is called the Slave Bible. It was made for slaves of the English empire. What I find significant about it is how much was cut out of it. Only about ten percent of the old testament was allowed, and not more than half of the new Testament.

All references and teachings are missing that were a threat to the institution of slavery.

Some years back I was pretty happy with myself for just being able to say, “Sure I believe in the constitution.” It wasn’t really until I enlisted that I understood a little better. Did I really even know what the Second Amendment said, much less what it meant? Further… what was written by our Founders that was every bit as important and sacred as the phrase, “Shall not be infringed” while I was making peace with “common sense gun control” which any person with common sense knows is an irrational absurdity?

And it wasn't really until I was out of the military that I educated myself on what it was I took an oath to support and defend with my life. My regret is I did not know sooner what I previously took for granted so carelessly.

Much the same can be said of how I called myself a Christian. And the truth of the matter is that I was just waiting to get picked off by an atheist argument as silly as the claim that I am only a product of the blood and soil I was privileged to be born in. Because I had my own version of my slave bible.

I shouldn’t have to point out that Memorial Day is not for members of the military only. It is a National observance for us to have the occasion to reflect on… a lot. Not just the sacrifice of our fallen in service of our country, although that should be among the greatest things we stop and give our thanks for.

But we should also stop and consider what the sacrifice was for, and to Who we are truly Thanking.

Memorial Weekend is a holiday that falls in close proximity to Shavuot, or Feast of Weeks. One of three major Feast Holidays commanded in the Old Testament to be celebrated by offering the first fruits of the harvest, and having the men of Israel appear before the Lord. A celebration for receiving the Law from the Lord to Moses.

From where I stand on the radical right, it is pretty easy for me to see how the two holidays are in agreement. The First Fruits we have offered are our fallen servicemen, for the gift of our Constitution to our Founding Fathers by God.

I know there are a lot of people to my left who have a problem with me looking at it that way. But from where I am standing I can see how our Founding Fathers wanted our country to be as much of a reflection of the Kingdom of Heaven as it could be. As the Preamble to the Constitution says, “In order to form a more perfect union” and give everyone living here an opportunity to the Pursuit of Happiness.

You should really ask yourself how much of the Constitution are you happy not knowing, not supporting or defending... so you can be in the middle. Same for a Christian in relation to the bible.

Because the most important question any person can ask themselves is how happy are you not knowing God?

Is ignorance really bliss for the slaves?
